They are robots that have features that can resemble those of humans, as the name suggests. In particular, they can resemble human arms. It is no coincidence, in fact, that this kind of anthropomorphic robot is often called an arm in industrial automation jargon.

Just like a human arm, anthropomorphic arm robots are characterised by joints and a wrist, the end of the robot to which the tool is applied

These 6-axis anthropomorphic robots are mainly used in any production where a human movement needs to be reproduced. In this way, the operator can be replaced and protected from dangerous or harmful movements because they are repetitive or involve effort.
