When manipulator robots may be needed
Manipulator robots are mainly used to manipulate or move materials or tools by preventing direct human contact. This allows processing to continue in a completely safe environment for the operator.
It is clear, therefore, that manipulator robots are mainly used in conditions where the material is potentially hazardous or a load is lifted and a repetitive operation is performed. The most common situations are the inherent dangerousness of the material itself, the potential or certain radioactivity of the object, or even the place where the material is located, which may be inaccessible or dangerous itself. In addition, the wear and tear of repetitive activities should not be underestimated.
Enslavement or packaging are just two examples of the many industrial applications of manipulator robots.

The composition of manipulator robots
Manipulator robots are composed of a sequence of sliding or articulated segments that allow arm-like movements. All manipulator robots also include a controller and a manipulator arm that, in turn, is composed of two or three compact joints and a gripping system that may resemble the wrist and hand of a human being’s arm.
The main function is to move and position the objects to be processed, preventing operators from exposing themselves to risks and dangers, as well as increasing their precision.
